And you’ll be glad too because what they’ve created is full of valuable information that they understand and will remember.

NEW! Elodea Salt Mystery
Elodea is one of the most observed live specimen under the microscope. And for good reason- it’s stunning! Elodea is perfect to observe while you’re covering cells because it’s a plant that has only has 2 things you can see- the cell wall and the chloroplast. Those 2 also happen to be the only 2 things that plant cells have that animal cells do not.

About the "Interactive Science Teacher" |
|
My name is Bill Wilkinson (students just call me "Mr. W") and I love teaching science!
In the 16 years I've taught one thing has remained constant-
ALL students learn better when their their hands and minds work together.
Currently my title is Science Liaison for Vigo County Schools in
Terre Haute, Indiana, where I teach daily in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classrooms in several different middle schools.
I am proud to say that every lesson on this site is an original that I really did with real students.
Only lessons that achieve a rich balance of natural curiosity, science standards, content, and appeal to all students
are good enough for this site.
