If you’re getting ready to teach waves to your students, you’ll need something to help them sort out all the confusing terms. That’s what this graphic organizer was designed to do. It’s a SIMPLE introduction to waves; something you can use to make sure that, before going any further, students have been properly introduced to wave basics (why go any further if they don’t know the fundamentals?), and how the key terms (mechanical wave, electromagnetic waves, longitudinal wave, transverse wave, radio wave, microwave, infrared radiation, visible light, ultraviolet light, x-rays, gamma rays) are related.
